From heartbreak to runway heartthrob.
Robert Irwin, the son of late zookeeper and conservationist Steve Irwin, made his catwalk debut on Wednesday at the Melbourne Fashion Festival in Australia weeks after he announced his breakup from Rorie Buckey.
The 20-year-old Aussie walked in the Suit Up Runway show and looked confident as he smiled in three eye-catching looks.
His first outfit consisted of a teal corduroy suit by Godwin, paired with a plain white turtleneck under the double-breasted blazer and finished off with ivory sneakers.
Robert also rocked a handsome look by Tomba including a black blazer and waistcoat worn over a white dress shirt. He added a hint of sophistication with a white bowtie and matching cardigan wrapped around his shoulders.
He sported white slacks and black dress shoes to complete his outfit and accessorized with thick-frame glasses that held a yellow tint.
Finally, Irwin smiled as he strutted down the catwalk in a deep gray cardigan speckled with varying colors worn over a black button-down top and tie, plus matching slacks.
While the young Aussie is committed to carrying on his father’s legacy at the Australia Zoo, he was thrilled to step out of the kangaroo cages for a chance to shine on the runway.

“Never imagined I’d be walking the runway, but here we are!” he captioned an Instagram post from the night. “Wow, thanks for an amazing night Melbourne Fashion Festival!!”
He wasn’t the only star making an appearance at the down-under fashion show; Iconic supermodel Elle Macpherson made her runway return after a 14-year hiatus earlier this week, dropping jaws in a similar runway setup/
Robert’s catwalk came weeks after he and Buckey — who is Heath Ledger’s niece — announced they were no longer together after two years of dating.
“We wanted to share that we have decided to go our separate ways but profoundly appreciate all the time spent together and wish one another all the very best into the future,” they said in a joint social media statement.
“We wish to express the gratitude and respect we have for one another as we continue our journeys on different paths.”
