“Summer House” newbie West Wilson was hit by a car Wednesday while biking in New York City.
“Everyone has a New York first, you know, and I scratched one off the bucket list today,” the Bravolebrity shared in a TikTok video, which he notably filmed while getting back on his Citi Bike.
Wilson, 28, explained that he was riding in the bike lane and had a green light, but the driver of the car evidently did not see him and crashed into his bicycle while making a left turn.
“I, like, braked hard and just kind of let my hips and torso, like, eat the hood of his car,” he said.
The reality star admitted he was rushing to a dentist appointment, so he “popped up” from the pavement and regained his composure.
“I was like, ‘Your hood’s cool. I’m cool.’ The poor guy was about to start crying,” he recalled.
Wilson told his followers he anticipated feeling sore the next day before joking, “I mean, fun experience, I suppose. We’re all good.”
“Summer House” fans flooded the comments section to say they were thankful that the sports journalist was OK.
“Stay safe West we need you to keep carrying Summer house on your back for many seasons to come,” one viewer wrote.

The Missouri native has already made waves in the house by pursing his co-star Ciara Miller.
