Millie Bobby Brown is ready for “Stranger Things” to end.
The former child actress, 19, said she won’t be mourning the show’s fifth and final season, which is set to air on Netflix after the SAG-AFTRA strike is resolved.
“When you’re ready, you’re like, ‘All right, let’s do this. Let’s tackle this last senior year. Let’s get out of here,’” Brown told Glamour magazine Monday.
“’Stranger Things’ takes up a lot of time to film and it’s preventing me from creating stories that I’m passionate about,” she continued.
“So I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you, and goodbye.’”
The British beauty, who is engaged to Jon Bon Jovi’s son Jake Bongiovi, said her star-making turn as Eleven in the hit sci-fi series has equipped her with “the tools and the resources to be a better actor.”
“When it ends, I’m going to be able to still see these people,” she went on, noting that “no one is dying.”
Elsewhere in the interview, the “Enola Holmes” star recalled facing backlash during press tours when she was just 13.
At the time, Brown was criticized for unintentionally talking over her co-stars and said adults would label her “an idiot,” “stupid” and “a brat.”
“We’re kids — we talk over each other. I was just penalized for over-talking and oversharing and being too loud,” she recalled.
“It’s hard to hear that at 13. You’re like, ‘I don’t want to ever talk again. I don’t want to be the loud person,’” she added.
“In interviews, I couldn’t help but think of all the comments. So I just remembered to stay silent and speak when I was spoken to, even though I was dying to join in. I just felt it wasn’t my turn.”
The Florence by Mills creator noted that her experience in the spotlight has encouraged her to look out for other underage actors.

“You cannot speak on children that are underage. I mean, our brains physically have not grown yet,” she said.
“To diminish and practically stunt someone’s growth mentally, strip them down, tell them, ‘Hey, listen, you don’t look that great. Why are you wearing that? How dare you think you can wear that? How dare you say that?’”
Brown has also faced criticism for getting engaged as a teenager. Bongiovi, 21, popped the question to the 19-year-old in April, with the two confirming the happy news via Instagram.
“Forever,” the model wrote, while the “Nineteen Steps” author added, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all.”
Fans were quick to chime in, with many questioning whether the pair were “too young” for the next step in their relationship.
“Isn’t she only 19 years old?” one person questioned.
“Child marriage should not be happening,” another added.
A third cynic chimed in, writing, “Guy is trying hard to secure the bag,” referencing Brown’s sizable paycheck for her breakout role in “Stranger Things.”
