Kristin Cavallari and Jeff Dye reportedly split after 5 months of dating

Kristin Cavallari and comedian Jeff Dye are reportedly dunzo.

The couple has parted ways after five months together, E! News reported on Thursday, with a source close to the “Very Cavallari” alum noting of the romance, “She was just having fun.”

“It was never that serious to begin with,” the insider said.

Cavallari — who announced her divorce from husband Jay Cutler last spring — was first linked to Dye in October when they were spotted out together in Chicago. A month later, the duo was seen having an “intimate” date night in Nashville, where Cavallari lives, and the romance progressed from there.

Cavallari appeared to hint at the split via social media just hours before reports of the breakup began to surface.

Posting a bikini shot, she tellingly wrote, “Freedom. It feels really damn good.”

Prior to her romance with Dye, Cavallari and former NFL quarterback Cutler were together for 10 years. They tied the knot in 2013 and confirmed their split in April 2020.

“With great sadness after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” the pair posted in a joint statement at the time.

“We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart,” the message continued.

Cavallari and Cutler have three kids: sons Camden, 8, Jaxon, 6, and 5-year-old daughter Saylor.

Cutler was previously to “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy, who earlier this year released alleged text messages between the pair.
