Meghan Markle hires Adele’s stylist, Jamie Mizrahi, amid ‘Hollywood relaunch’: report

A royal rebrand is in the works.

Meghan Markle is reportedly collaborating with celebrity stylist Jamie Mizrahi to revamp her wardrobe, per Lauren Sherman’s The Line Sheet.

Sherman wrote about the news in Thursday’s edition of her fashion industry newsletter, writing that the Duchess of Sussex, 42, was “working with Jamie Mizrahi, expert celebrity friend-turned-expert celebrity stylist.”

During her days as a senior member of the royal family, Markle was said not to have worked with a stylist, although her pal Jessica Mulroney reportedly helped out with her wardrobe at times.

After leaving royal life for the sunny shores of her native California, she’s relied on stealth wealth separates like cashmere sweaters and polished coats with jeans but, as Sherman notes, Montecito’s dress code “requires more pull-on linen pants than fitted Roland Mouret shift dresses.”

However, with a relaunch of her career said to be in the works, hiring Mizrahi — who styles stars like Adele, Jennifer Lawrence, Jeremy Allen White and Riley Keough — could catapult the duchess’ California-cool looks into true Hollywood glam.

A source tells Page Six Style that Markle and Mizrahi have only collaborated one time.

The star stylist, who is married to hedge fund guru Nico Mizrahi, formerly worked as a creative director for Juicy Couture and has built a successful styling business working with A-listers over the past few years. She also launched an underwear brand, The Kit, with fellow Hollywood dresser Simone Harouche in 2019.

Markle signed with Hollywood agency WME last spring and landed a new podcast deal with Lemonada Media this month, signaling plenty of new projects — and stylish looks — in the works.

Sherman notes the styling relationship with Mizrahi could be “a turning point for both parties when it comes to their respective myth-making” — but as for the duchess’ Hollywood relaunch, watch this space.
