Instead, Dustin argued for arranged marriages.

“Arranged marriages I think make a lot of sense because you’re not under the pressure of being in love. It’s an easy contract,” he explained.

“You don’t have to like each other and then whatever happens, happens.”

Although his co-star Owen Wilson argued that arranged marriages took away from romance and courtship, Dustin doubled down.

“There’s nothing wrong with courting or romance, it just shouldn’t have to go into a contractual phase, which is marriage,” he said. Getty Images

Lisa, however, said that she and Dustin “worked hard” at their marriage.

“I say in Hollywood it is like dog years, so you have to multiply that by seven,” she quipped in 2017, then added the pair “are more in love” than ever before and their affection for each other “continues to grow.”
