Kathy Hilton suspects her sister Kyle Richards spent the past few years thinking about separating from her husband, Mauricio Umansky.
Hilton alleged the “Halloween” actress and the real estate broker’s split was a long time coming during her surprise appearance on part two of the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 13 reunion Wednesday.
While talking to her glam team inside of her trailer, Hilton said, “[Kyle’s] not a compulsive person. She doesn’t just jump and make a decision. Kyle didn’t decide this in three months. For sure, I bet she had been thinking — in my feeling — probably in the last three, four years.”
Hilton, 64, further claimed Richards, 55, and Umansky, 53, have been on separate paths.

“Mauricio is going one way, she’s going one way. They’re both trying to work,” the mother of Paris Hilton continued.
Kathy previously opened up about the former couple’s separation, claiming she was initially “heartbroken” to see her sister’s marriage of 27 years crumble.
“When I first saw it, I was just like, it just broke my heart,” she said during an appearance on “Today with Hoda and Jenna” in November 2023.
“So she’s very strong, she’s resilient … I just want her to be happy,” she continued.
In July 2023, Page Six confirmed that the former couple decided to take a break despite continuing to live under the same roof.
The next day, Richards and Umansky broke their silence on the matter, insisting there was “no wrongdoing on anyone’s part.”
“We have had a rough year,” they wrote in a joint statement posted to Instagram. “But we both love and respect each other tremendously.”
The duo are parents to daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16. Richards also shares 35-year-old daughter Farrah Brittany, with ex-husband, Guraish Aldjufrie.
